Legend2Legacy Foundation Partners with TEAMUP to Make Elite Youth Athletics Accessible Through Innovative Fundraising
MONROE, LA – The Legend2Legacy Foundation Inc. today announced a strategic partnership with TEAMUP, a leading fundraising platform, to remove financial barriers for student-athletes attending its prestigious All-American Bowl Week. This collaboration will empower young athletes to fund their participation through a community-focused, relationship-driven approach, transforming the traditionally stressful fundraising process into an empowering experience.
The partnership will be a core feature of the upcoming All-American Bowl Week, scheduled for December 26-31, 2025, at the University of Louisiana Monroe.
"At Legend2Legacy, we are dedicated to creating transformational experiences, not just hosting events," said Thomas Epps, Founder of the Legend2Legacy Foundation. "Our partnership with TEAMUP is built on the shared belief that real fundraising is about building relationships, not just completing transactions. Together, we are providing a platform that respects the time of busy families and equips young athletes with invaluable life skills."
The integrated system allows families to secure their spot for the All-American Bowl Week with an initial $250 deposit and then opt to use the TEAMUP platform to raise the remaining $550 balance. Upon registration, participants receive immediate access to a personalized fundraising portal complete with social media sharing tools, sample outreach messages, and a progress dashboard.
Key features of the Legend2Legacy and TEAMUP partnership include:
-
Immediate Activation: An instant email provides everything a family needs to begin sharing their campaign and engaging with potential sponsors.
-
Direct Impact: 100% of the funds raised through the platform are applied directly to the athlete's registration costs, with no hidden fees.
-
Competitive Engagement: The platform introduces a healthy sense of competition with leaderboards organized by grade level and special prizes awarded to the top fundraisers. All participants who successfully reach their goal will be recognized during the Bowl Week events.
-
Life Skills Development: The process teaches athletes how to professionally articulate their goals, present themselves to a network of supporters, and build a community around their athletic journey.
This initiative turns fundraising from a potential burden into an opportunity for growth. It allows sponsors to connect directly with the athletes they support and see the tangible impact of their contributions.
"This is the first test for our athletes before they even step onto the field," Epps challenged. "We are asking them to show us how they can rally their community. We handle the logistics so families can focus on what matters most: supporting their athlete. To sponsors, we say get ready to meet the next generation of talent and know that you helped make their journey possible."
The path to the Legend2Legacy All-American Bowl Week now begins with a single step of community engagement.
