More Than a Game, It's a Convention

This is not a tournament with a few games squeezed into a weekend. Game of the Americas All-American Bowl Week is a five-day, four-night convention built the way a college bowl week is built, and it is the reason destination partners keep telling us this is unlike anything else in youth sports tourism.

The schedule is layered with real programming: trainings, workshops, and seminars running every single day, tailgating, a pep rally, an Opening Ceremony, and a Closing Ceremony that brings the whole week home. This is what turns a showcase into an experience families remember and destinations want to host year after year.

Every student-athlete travels with an average of 3.5 family members, putting total attendance at approximately 1,900 to 2,100 people for the week. About 80 percent travel in from outside the host city, and 20 percent come from the local community.

Team Legend vs. Team Legacy

This is a youth football convention wrapped around a showcase, not a showcase alone. Activations, workshops, trainings, and seminars run all week long, alongside an Opening Ceremony, a pep rally, tailgating, and a Showcase Game Day, all built like a college bowl game week.

  • Team Legend vs. Team Legacy Showcase (Grades 1–7): foundational skill development, core football concepts, and the values of hard work and perseverance from an early age.​

The Crème de la Crème: The Nexxt Up 8th Grade Elite Showcase Camp

  • Team Legend: the ones who came before. The athletes, coaches, and families whose hard work and heart already helped build what this game is today. Team Legend represents the foundation, the standard, the proof that the work pays off.

  • Team Legacy: the ones carrying it forward. The next generation, rising up to take everything they have been taught and build something even bigger with it. Team Legacy represents the future, still being written, one athlete at a time.

Every student athlete who steps onto the field for Game of the Americas is part of that same story, honoring the legends who came before them while building the legacy that comes next.

If Game of the Americas has a crown jewel, this is it. The Nexxt Up 8th Grade Elite Showcase Camp brings together the top eighth graders from around the country for one last celebration before high school.Every one of these young athletes has spent years working toward this. For most, it is their final youth, junior high, and middle school football event, and they know it. It is the last time to take the field as a kid before stepping into the next chapter, and they play like it, under the lights, in front of everyone.These are the future stars of tomorrow, and at Nexxt Up, they are celebrated today.

FutureReady Curriculum, 15+ Hours, 10 Tracks

Every day opens with a Morning Ramp-Up on the practice field, then expands into full moderated evening sessions. Ten tracks run throughout the week:

  • Education Advocacy: IEP navigation and school resources

  • NCAA and NAIA Recruiting: recruiting process and eligibility

  • Financial Literacy: building a financial foundation

  • NIL Education: Name, Image and Likeness basics

  • Mental Health and Resilience: performance mindset and support

  • Life Skills and Character: leadership and accountability

  • Helmet Safety Protocol: concussion awareness and technique

  • Football IQ and Conditioning: film, schemes, and preparation

  • Sports Media and Branding: telling your story early

  • Community Building: staying connected after the event

Every session is built around dialogue. A trained moderator facilitates, the audience asks questions, and special guests respond in real time. Mental health and resilience support is woven into every day, and coaches are trained to lead with care as much as with a whistle.

Our integrated Football Tech University transforms this showcase into an immersive educational convention. Legend2Legacy Foundation Inc. is proud to introduce the Football Tech University Supermarketplace, expanding our commitment to year-round development and creating a central hub for elite training and valuable resources for every student athlete who comes through our program.

Elite, Position-Specific Training

Progressive, expert coaching, meticulously tailored to each age group and specific position. Every showcase week includes hands-on, position specific training led by Football Tech University coaches:

  • Quarterback: advanced mechanics, precise footwork, and reading defenses effectively

  • Running Back / Wide Receiver: route running techniques, ball security, and enhancing agility

  • Offensive Line: blocking schemes, proper hand placement, and clear communication

  • Defensive Line: pass rush techniques, gap control responsibilities, and secure tackling

  • Linebacker: pursuit angles, coverage skills development, and effective run stopping

  • Defensive Back: coverage techniques, crucial ball skills, and open-field tackling mastery

  • Kicker / Punter: specialized coaching focused on technique refinement, accuracy, and power, highlighting potential for collegiate play

Combine Assessment Testing

Alongside that training, every student athlete goes through combine style assessment testing, the same kind of testing used at the highest levels of the game. This is how we track our student athletes and build real, true data on every athlete in our program, not a guess and not just a highlight reel.

That data follows the student athlete over time, giving families, coaches, and Football Tech University an accurate, ongoing record of a student athlete's growth from one event to the next.

The Week at a Glance

Day 1: Arrival, Meet & Greet, Opening Ceremony

  • Player meet and greet with swag bags, plus an Experience Area with vendor exhibits

  • Opening Ceremony: athletes march in by grade, Team Legend then Team Legacy, 8th graders entering last

  • First practice begins that evening

Day 2: Practice Day 1

  • Morning Ramp-Up: Education Advocacy and Recruiting

  • Structured practice sessions for both teams

  • Evening activation: Financial Literacy and NIL Education

Day 3: Practice Day 2, NexxT Up 8th Grade Elite

  • Morning Ramp-Up: Mental Health, Resilience and Life Skills

  • NexxT Up 8th Grade Elite Showcase sessions integrated throughout

  • Evening activation: Helmet Safety, Football IQ and Sports Media

Day 4: Longest Day, Joint Practice, Tailgate

  • Morning Ramp-Up with both teams together: Community and Character

  • Joint practice followed by a tailgate celebration

  • Live scrimmages with community and families in attendance, media coverage

  • Evening: Pep Rally and Family Night, final prep for Showcase Game Day

Day 5: Showcase Game Day, College Spring Game 

  • Championship games across 1st through 7th grade divisions, with a Trophy and MVP Ceremony for each

  • NexxT Up 8th Grade Showcase Game, a final mini-celebration before high school

  • Closing Ceremony: a New Year's Eve family celebration to close the week
